Getting The Most Out Of Outlet Shopping
September 17th, 2007Shopping for things at outlet malls can be a great way to find an amazing bargain. Here are a few tips and tricks to getting the most out of your outlet shopping experience.
1. Know what you’re looking for. Before you go shopping have an idea what you want to buy.. are you looking for shoes? Or a dress? Also, take your time and try to figure out what is in style right now. Chances are you can find almost anything in a good outlet mall, it might not be exactly the same as in the pages of your magazines but it can be pretty close.
2. Check for imperfections. See a great leather jacket that is way under priced? If so make sure you look and see if there is anything wrong with the item before you buy it. Check things like seams, zippers, buttons and the inside fabric of items. If there is a small hole but you can sew it up then no big deal right? but if it’s missing a button and you don’t know where to find a matching one that can be a problem.
3. Set a spending limit. It’s easy to get carried away when you’re looking at such great prices. Make sure you don’t break the bank and then regret your shopping spree later.
4. Ask your self if you REALLY need something. Yes it’s great to get a sweater for $5 but if it’s not something you’ll probably ever wear then why buy it? Trust me on this one I’ve done it before. If it’s not your style then it’s not your style… no matter how cheap it is.
